Composition
Each capsule of Pantocid L contains:
Pantoprazole Sodium IP
eq. to Pantoprazole 40 mg
(as enteric coated pellets)
Levosulpiride 75 mg
(as sustained release tablet)
Excipients q.s.
Indications
Pantocid L is indicated for the short term treatment of Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in patients who do not respond to proton-pump inhibitor (PPI) alone.
Dosage and Administration
The recommended dose of Pantocid L is one capsule once daily before meals. Capsule should be swallowed whole and not be chewed.
The maximum recommended daily dose of pantoprazole 40 mg and levosulpiride 75 mg should not be exceeded.
Elderly: Caution is advised when used in the elderly patients and the dose should be carefully stabilized.
